Section 44809 (Recreational Rules)

Section 44809 lists the current rules for the recreational operation of small uncrewed aircraft. If you are not a certificated commercial operator operating under Part 107, you must follow all of the rules under Section 44809. Occasionally, these are referred to as the Section 349 rules, since they come from Section 349 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018.
