Not seeing your drone connected? Android (CrystalSky OS) makes you select a default app preference when connecting your monitor to the remote controller. It is recommended to connect the drone and controller before connecting to CrystalSky, so the device will recognize the new connection. Upon plugging into the monitor, you will be prompted to “Choose an app for the USB device.” Select Aloft, and you have the option to set this Always or Just Once.
If you do not receive this pop-up and cannot connect to your aircraft, please try going to Settings > Apps > All (top-right) > Select DJI GO 4 / DJI PILOT > and choose Clear Defaults under “Launch by Default.” Now try plugging the cable back in to trigger this prompt.
If you’re still experiencing installation issues, a complete factory data reset may be required. Please be sure to remove any needed files prior to resetting to prevent data loss.
