What does Aloft need all these permissions for?

We offer phone support directly from the app. We also have telephony features for communicating during live streaming. The average user may not utilize these features, yet we need to need to ask for access for those reasons. Media access allows pilots to download images directly to their mobile devices while connected to the drone. We also need GPS location for many aspects: weather, airspace, and other logging functions. Note also that per our privacy policy we don’t sell or do anything with your data.
